I. Overview

The zw8-12 series outdoor high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker is a high-voltage outdoor switchgear with a rated voltage of 12KV and three-phase AC 50Hz. It is mainly used to cut off the load current, overload current and short-circuit current of rural power grids, urban power grids and small power systems. The overall structure of the product is a three-phase common box type. The three-phase vacuum arc extinguishing chamber is placed in a metal box, which is conducive to the interphase insulation and ground insulation of SMC insulation materials. It has reliable performance and high insulation strength.

zw8-12G is a combination of zw8-12 circuit breaker and isolation knife. It is called a combination circuit breaker. It can be used as a disconnecting switch or has its own power supply. It has built-in PT or external PT.

The operating mechanism of this series of products is the CT23 spring operating mechanism, which is divided into electric and manual.

This product cooperates with the intelligent controller to realize functions such as reclosing, dual-action source switching, current protection, etc., and realizes distribution network automation.

2. Use environmental conditions

a. Ambient air temperature: upper limit +40℃, lower limit -30℃ (general areas), -40℃ (alpine areas);

b. Altitude: ≤1000m (if the altitude needs to be increased, the rated insulation level will be raised accordingly);

c. Wind pressure: no more than 700pa (equivalent to wind speed 34m/s);

d. Amplitude: earthquake intensity does not exceed 8 degrees;

e. Pollution level: Level III;

f. Maximum daily temperature difference; not exceeding 25℃.
